The 17th edition of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) LAC Forum will take place on June 2nd, 2026, at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris (14:30-18:00 CEST). Jointly organised by the OECD Development Centre, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Agence française de développement (AFD), the Forum will feature sessions on boosting competitiveness and mobilizing finance for critical infrastructure (energy, digital, and logistics) in the region.
Venezuela’s evolving role in global value chains and its renewable energy potential are central themes for this year’s "Unlocking Opportunities" agenda within the Forum.
