July 15-16, Caracas.- Positioned at the core of South American and Caribbean energy prospects, Venezuela holds massive natural gas reserves that are ready for strategic expansion. To unpack these developments, the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA), Venezuela´s premier business school, will host the highly anticipated 5th Edition of the Caracas Gas Forum 2026.

Scheduled for July 15 and 16, 2026, at the IESA campus in San Bernardino, Caracas, this premier independent event serves as the definitive meeting ground for regional energy strategy. Moving under the banner of “Green Light for Venezuela: The Gas Hub the Region Needs,” the Spanish-language only,forum will focus heavily on infrastructure monetization, public-private alliances, and cross-border energy integration.

Core Pillars & Key Learning Objectives

Participants will engage in high-level discussions designed to map out immediate investment and operational pathways. The agenda features deep dives into critical areas:

  1. Regional Energy Security & Regulations: Aligning Venezuela’s national regulatory frameworks with international market demands to establish the country as the primary gas hub for the Caribbean and South America.

  2. Sustainability and Tech Innovation: Practical solutions for reducing environmental impact, focusing directly on minimizing gas flaring and leveraging natural gas as a reliable bridge for the regional energy transition.

  3. Strategic Monetization: Unlocking the potential of licensed projects to fast-track production, address regional supply deficits, and tap into immediate export opportunities with neighboring partners like Trinidad & Tobago and Colombia.

The forum will be held at IESA´s Caracas campus between July 15 and 16.
